Come join us for an afternoon of fun, FREE pizza, popcorn, live music, and lots of demonstrations and tastings from your local farmers and producers. This is a FREE family friendly event. To celebrate cycling in the islands, Local Motion is partnering with Health Hero Farm, in South Hero. Cyclists are encouraged to approach the festival from Colchester, over the causeway, using the The Island Line Bike Ferry. If you prefer a shorter cycling trip, you may come early to the festival, park on the farm and follow one of our local bicycle routes to tour South Hero’ s attractions. Save the date: Sunday, August 28th, 3:00PM-6:00PM

Of course you can always drive, but isn’t it “Better by Bike”? August 30 is a very special day on the bike ferry — free to festival attendees, so why not take advantage of this? You can leave your car in Colchester’s Airport Park and follow the signs to the ferry. Then you can follow our suggested festival bike route. Please park and ride early to allow time to enjoy the charms of South Hero. The festival at Health Hero Farm is from 3pm to 6pm, and the bike ferry will be in operation until 7pm to accommodate festival attendees. Thanks to festival partner Local Motion and our sponsors for providing the free ferry ride!

To celebrate cycling in the islands, the Lake Champlain Islands Economic Development Corporation and Local Motion are partnering with Health Hero Farm, in South Hero.  Their third annual Farm and Food Festival will have an expanded program to include bicycling events.  This is a free event with free pizza.
